Visitors must present a valid photo ID issued by a local, state, or federal agency, and undergo a warrant check.

All children under age 16 are to be escorted by an adult at all times including the vistation area and the grounds of the LEC.

Only three adult visitors per inmate are allowed inside the visitation room, with no more than three children visitors. Only one Adult, who is on the inmate’s visitation list, with up to three children may visit the inmate at a time. Children visitors shall be accompanied by an adult who is on the inmate’s visitation list any time they visit with an inmate. (Children are considered anyone under 16)

The Nacogdoches County Jail is not responsible for any lost or stolen items

Anyone found in possession of the above listed items shall have their visit terminated and asked to leave the grounds of the LEC.

Inmates incarcerated at the Nacogdoches County Jail will be eligible for visitation within 48 hours of incarceration unless the inmate has not been cleared for medical reasons.

Feel free to write to anyone as frequently as you desire, as long as your letters comply with the regulations set by the U.S. Postal Service. In order to send your letters, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Inmates may contact you from the phones or kiosks located in their dorm. There is only 1 kiosk and 1 phone in the 8 person dorms and two in the 24 person dorms. These are shared among the inmates.
