How cool would it be to get arrested, end up on the jail roster, and have an automated phone call dispatched to bail bondsmen to pay your bail using your debit card? In theory, it would be possible with Jail.Guru.

 

Okay, I’m not that good on my own, and I don’t have the money for my bail in my bank account, but it’s a cool concept. I know conversation flow is something Google even struggles with, even though they can successfully make reservations for you with a real human. I’m hoping LaMDA or ChatGPT APIs + Twilio could achieve something. I doubt I’ll get that far with it myself, though. What you build will be up to you.

 

Much simpler tasks can occur, like texting your family members that you are in jail and that you are safe. You could even set your house to go into vacation mode and automatically lock all doors and trigger lights on and off at varying times to simulate you being at home. All of this is possible with Webhooks and IFTTT. Something none of the current services support
